History of New Kingdom Faith Christian Church

New Kingdom Faith Christian Church began its kingdom journey hosting monthly Fresh Encounter Prayer Services at different local churches. Through the Fresh Encounter Prayer Services, the Duckett's began to hear God speak about planting a church. As God continued to speak, the Duckett's continued their monthly Fresh Encounter Prayer Services. During this time they began to build a team a of persons, Sylverster Buttrom, Rodney Carr, Leslie Davis, Minister Nancy Duckett, Lillian Hardie, Michael Goodwin, Tridonna Beads, and Dickson and Cherly Williams, that would help the Duckett's in the initial stages of starting the church. The team met weekly in the Duckett's home.

As the meetings continued weekly, the Duckett's held their first small group, the Ladies Life Class the day after Christmas on Friday, December 26, 2014. There were 27 women in attendance and they all agreed that the Ladies Life Class should continue on a weekly basis. After the initial start of the Ladies Life Class, other small groups began to form, such as the Men's Master Class, Trailblazer and Bridging the Gap.

With humble beginnings led by the Holy Spirit, Pastors H. Duante and Diane Duckett heard the call from God to plant a church called New Kingdom Faith Christian Church (NKFCC). Being obedient to His call, pastors Duante and Diane Duckett led their first missions worship service in the basement of their home on Sunday, May 3, 2015. As the membership began to grow tremendously, the basement was becoming too cramp to accommodate ministry in their home.

In December 2015, Pastors Duante and Diane had a great sense of urgency that God was mandating them to find a facility, for New Kingdom Faith to be properly equipped to accommodate and continuing the ministry God had given them.

Not knowing how they would afford to move from the basement to a facility, they believed God would make a way somehow. After looking at several facilities, on December 31st, God brought them to 500 McCormick Drive, Suite H, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. After the walk-through, they believed that this was where God wanted to plant them to grow the ministry. Still walking by faith and not by sight, they had their New Year's Eve Service on Wednesday, December 31, 2015, where the Pastors children presented them with a large key, stating, "this is the key holding your future." When the Duckett children presented that key, Pastors Duante and Diane Duckett knew that 500 McCormick Drive, Suite H was where they were to settle.

On Sunday, March 20, 2016 the pastors and the members of New Kingdom Faith Christian Church march into their new facility with excitement holding their first worship service on Palm Sunday.

On Sunday, May 22, 2016, the church was set apart as an official church and the Pastors H. Duante and Diane Duckett where installed by their father in ministry, Bishop Dwayne C. Debnam as the Pastors of New Kingdom Faith Christian Church.

New Kingdom Vision

New Kingdom Faith exists to help wounded and broken people connect with God to become whole by assisting them to establish a real relationship with Jesus Christ.

New Kingdom Values

Healing – Healed people will help heal people (Matthew 10:8)

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

Salvation – Saved people will help save people (Acts 16:31)

They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

Love – Love God, Love yourself and Love others (Mark 12:30-31)

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Generosity – Generosity matters: We give to give (2 Corinthians 9:12)

This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.

What We Believe:

The Bible - The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

God - There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of God, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

The Holy Spirit - The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regnerated the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

The Fall of Man - Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

Salvation - The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.

The Return of Jesus Christ - The personal, premillenial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

The Church - The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head.

Baptist and Communion - Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord's Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.
